Nisel focuses her practice on serving entrepreneurs, small business owners, and small corporations in the Raleigh-Durham region. Specifically, Nisel resolves disputes in intellectual property, settles breach of contract cases, guides start-ups through the formation and funding process. She is also passionate about data privacy issues in the healthcare and technology sectors. Nisel graduated from Campbell University with a J.D. and Master’s in Public Health (earning magna cum laude honors in her M.S.P.H.). While in law school, Nisel served in general counsel departments across the Triangle in the technology and pharmaceutical industries and interned at the NC Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud and Abuse Office. After law school, Nisel served in the legal department of a global investment bank and as a product consultant in the legal publishing industry. She brings a sense of humor and passion for the law to her clients and colleagues.
