Brittany is a Charlotte, North Carolina native. In 2014, she graduated from Appalachian State University Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. In 2017, she received her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law. While in law school, Brittany served as a law clerk at the White House in their Office of Administration’s General Counsel’s office. Additionally, while in law school she worked alongside professors and attorneys in the Wrongful Convictions Clinic seeing justice for clients. Since graduating, Brittany has offered representation to low-income individuals through Legal Aid of North Carolina. Prior to joining CarnesWarwick, Brittany supported fellow attorneys in the Financial Services Litigation department at a mid-sized regional law firm.
